ISLAMABAD: News of Pakistani singer and actress Meesha Shafi planning tomove permanently away to Canada with her family has been circulating aroundsocial media for a while now.

Stories of Meesha Shafi and her husband Mehmood Rehman deciding to shift toCanada permanently state that the procedure has been going on for some timenow, with arrangements for the move in their final stages.

Canadian Government has even issued Permanent Resident cards to thecouple’s children. The procedure of attaining the citizenship starts aftercandidates have lived in the country for a period of about three years.

Meesha Shafi or her family have not yet made an official statementconcerning this decision.
