The Ramazan crescent moon was sighted in Pakistan Saturday and thebelievers will observe Sunday (April 3) as the first fasting day of theholy month.
Ramazan crescent was sighted in many parts of the country including Lahore,Islamabad and Karachi.
The formal announcement was made by Chairman Central Ruet-i-Hilal CommitteeMaulana Abdul Khabeer Azad who chaired the committee meeting that wasattended by Peshawar’s zonal committee members and officials of theMinistry of Religious Affairs, Ministry of Science and Technology, MetDepartment and SUPARCO.
The Ramazan crescent moon was sighted in Saudi Arabia as well as the otherGulf States on Friday. The crescent moon of Ramazan 1443/ 2022 was seen inmultiple locations in Saudi Arabia.
