Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith harmony Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadrisays the government is legislating for a single official moon-sightingcommittee to ensure observance of fasting and celebration of Eid on sameday across the country.
Talking to media in Peshawar today [Saturday], he said the government hasintroduced ‘Ruet-e-Hilal’ bill in both houses of the parliament forobservance of fasting and Eid on same across the country.
The Minister said the government has proposed fines and punishments forviolators under the bill.
