ISLAMABAD – The Supreme Court registrar returned four applications withobjections that were filed to stop the no-confidence motion on the basis ofthe threatening letter.
Objecting to the applications, the registrar stated that no point of publicinterest has been raised in the application. “It has not been clarified whythe court should use the scope of Article 184(3),” he said, adding that thepetitioner had approached the SC directly instead of contacting therelevant process.
He observed that the parliament proceedings cannot be challenged under theArticle 69K.
In the applications, it was requested to form an investigation commissionon the pattern of the Memogate scandal.
