The joint opposition link has chalkedout a strategy for casting votes during the no-confidence motion againstPrime Minister Imran Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sources revealed to 24News TV channel on Saturday that the joint oppositionlink has decided to tentatively ask thePTI dissident members to stay away from casting their votes against theirparty so that the process of voting linknot become controversial in light of the forthcoming Supreme Courtjudgement on the presidential reference that has sought apex court’sinterpretation of Article 63-A of Constitution that might invokedisqualification of the dissident members.
The sources divulged that though the dissident members would be brought tothe Parliament House but they would not take part in the votinglink.
The joint opposition link believes thatwith the help of its allies, it would achieve the required numbers in thelower house sans dissidents’ votes.
Sources said in case the oppositionlinkthat it is short of numbers, then it would ask the dissidentslink to cast their votes in favour ofno-trust motion.
Opposition link sources said though thedissidents link are willing to voteagainst prime minister, but the oppositionlink does not want to make the processcontroversial.
