Prime Minister Imran Khan, while taking calls in a live telethon broadcaston state and private news channels as well as on radio and digital media,reiterated the accusation that the United States is behind the conspiracyto oust him while urging the youth to stand up against the theinternational conspiracy against him.

PM Imran’s decision to take live calls from the public comes a day beforethe all-important no-confidence vote in the National Assembly that willdecide his fate.

Before taking telephone calls, the premier told listeners that Pakistan isat a crucial juncture with the country’s future at stake.

Repeating the good versus evil mantra, he said that it is time decidewhether we choose good or evil.

A society that sides with honesty and justice takes a new life. But when asociety decides to stay neutral, it begins supporting the bad, he said.“Staying neutral is tantamount to supporting evil.”

Call for ‘peaceful’ protest

Talking about the purported threat letter that originated after an allegedconversation between a Pakistani diplomat and US official, he said the’international conspiracy’ to oust him was out in the open.

“The cabinet, NSC and the parliament’s security committee have seen it. Theofficial document says that if you remove Imran Khan, your relations withthe US will get better,” he said adding that the opposition would maintaintheir ”slovenly attitude” towards the West because they are “corrupt”.

“Politicians are being bought and sold cattle to topple the government. TheMir Jaffers and Mir Sadiqs in Pakistan are helping those who hatched thisconspiracy abroad,” he said while urging the people to come out on thestreet to protest against it.
