Federal government raises LNG prices across Pakistan

*ISLAMABAD – The federal government has increased price of LiquefiedPetroleum Gas (LNG).*

According to the notification issued by the Oil and Gas RegulatoryAuthority (OGRA), one day after the government announced to raise petroleumproduct prices, LNG price has been increased by Rs3.5 per kilogramme.Following this hike, price of LNG per kg has become Rs133.5.

Domestic cylinder price has witnessed increase of Rs41, while price ofcommercial cylinder has grown by Rs201. The federal government on Sundayannounced to raise petrol price by six rupees a litre.

Earlier, the government increased the *prices*linkpetrol and diesel by Rs6 per litre each.

Meanwhile, the prices of kerosene and light diesel oil (LDO) have beenincreased by Rs3 a litre for April 2019 effective from Monday (today) tillmidnight of April 30.

With this increase, the petrol prices have been increased from the existingRs92.88 to Rs98.88/litre. Prices of High Speed Diesel (HSD), which iswidely used in transport and agriculture sector, have been increased toRs117.43 per litre from the earlier Rs111.43 a litre.
