Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his wife Kulsoom Nawaz are celebrating 46 years of marriage today.

To mark the occasion, the prime minister’s daughter Maryam Nawaz, shared photos of her parents and her family and tweeted heartfelt messages.

“Every love story is beautiful, but yours is my favourite,” she said. “Happy 46th wedding anniversary to the best couple ever.”

“Nothing in this world is perfect, but the two of you are!” she added. “May the companionship and comradeship always continue.”
