ISLAMABAD – An Amritsar-based Sikh organization, Dal Khalsa, in a statementissued in Jalandhar urged the United Nations to intervene and endhostilities between Pakistan and India to save the region from impedingthreat of war.

It urged World Body to convene a special session of the General Assembly onKashmir dispute for its permanent settlement.
