WASHINGTON: Forbes claimed that Microsoft’s co-founder Bill Gates retained the slot of richest person on earth with a net worth of $ 75 billion.
Bill Gates remained the no.1 richest person of the world for consecutive 3rd year.
Forbes reported 1,810 billionaires with a net worth of $6.48 trillion which is $570 billion lesser than the last year.
A Spanish billionaire Amanico Ortega is spotted as second in the list and the richest man in Europe.
Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffet at 3rd , Mexican Carlos Slim Helu at no. 4 while Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon falls at no.5 of billionaires in the world.
Forbes magazine claimed that Ambani ranked at 36th in the list with a net worth of $20.6 billion and declared as India’s richest person.
The magazine also issued India’s top 100 billionaires which includes Dilip Shanghavi (44th$16.7 billion), Wipro chairmen Azim Premji (55th $15 billion) and HCL co-founder Shiva Nadar (88th $11.1 billion).
