Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has decided to acquire twohelicopters on rent.
It may be mentioned here the provincial government has already in processto acquire a plane on rent for which Rs120 million have been earmarked.
After completion of the tendering process for the plane, work for acquiringtwo helicopters for three months will be set into motion.
Sources said the Punjab government’s present helicopter needs maintenancefor which funds worth over Rs20 million had been approved.
