Pakistan has lodged a strong protest with India over the ceasefireviolations by the Indian occupation forces along the Line of Control onWednesday last.

According to Foreign Office spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, a seniorIndian diplomat was summoned to foreign ministry to register the protest.

Due to indiscriminate and unprovoked firing by the Indian occupation forcesin Kotkotera Sector of the Line of Control, a 34 year old MuhammadSarfaraz, at Phalni Bazar, sustained serious injuries.

The Indian side was called upon to respect the 2003 CeasefireUnderstanding, investigate this and other such incidents of deliberateceasefire violations and maintain peace along the Line of Control andWorking Boundary.
