Christchurch: Pakistan stand-in Test captain Mohammad Rizwan has confirmedthat the team management has planned to make changes in the final XI forthe second New Zealand Test.

The wicketkeeper-batsman is confident of making a strong comeback in thefinal match of the tour just like they did in the T20I series.

“We have thought of making changes for the second Test. We will sit downwith the team management and decide, but there are going to be somechanges,” Rizwan said.

“The last fixture of any tour is very important. The series is still on andthe lads are confident of leveling the series by winning the second Test,”he added.Pakistan regular captain Babar Azam will miss the second Test as he is yetto recover from a thumb injury. Rizwan said that the star batsman willrecover ahead of the all-important series against South Africa back home.

“Babar is very strong mentally and wants to make comeback when he is 100percent fit. He needs some more to get fit to stay available for the SouthAfrica series,” he maintained.

The 28-year-concluded by revealing that they will bowl first if toss goesin their favor as the conditions at Hagley Oval suits pacers.
