ISLAMABAD – Justice Asif Saeed Khosa has been appointed as the new ChiefJustice of Pakistan.
As per the media report, President of Pakistan Arif Alvi on Wednesday gaveapproval for the appointment of Justice Asif Saeed Khosa as the chiefjustice of Pakistan, the Ministry of Law said in a statement.
The ministry said that Justice Khosa, who is the senior most judge of theSupreme Court, will take charge as the chief justice on January 18.
