According to a police official, an Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft, carrying six individuals, had to make an "emergency" landing in a village near Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, on Sunday due to a technical issue.
The pilot and the five crew members are reported to be safe, as per India's news agency Press Trust of India (PTI).
The incident occurred around 8.45 am when the IAF's III HU unit aircraft made the emergency landing in a sugarcane field near a lake in Dungariya village, approximately 60 km from Bhopal's district headquarters.
The aircraft was en route from Bhopal to Jhansi and encountered a technical problem. Currently, an IAF team is at the site to address the technical issue, while another team of technicians is expected to arrive from Nagpur to assist in Dungariya village.
