JCP recommends new Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court

Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Atta Bandial presided over a meeting of the Judicial Commission to take up the matter of the appointment of the Islamabad High Court Chief justice.
The commission recommended the appointment of Justice Amir Farooq as the IHC chief justice.
The name of Justice Amir was recommended unanimously. Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Athar Minullah has been recommended for the post of Supreme Court judge.
