CHARSADDA, Nov 1 (APP): ANP President Asfandyar Wali Khan Tuesday said PTI chief Imran Khan was 'clean bowled on a no ball' by withdrawing his call for locking down Islamabad.

Addressing a party meeting here at Sardheri, the Awami National Party (ANP) leader said the country could no more afford politics of agitation and sit-ins. But the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader in his so-called accountability drive crossed all the limits and his Islamabad lockdown plan added to the miseries of the poor people.

Asfandyar said the Supreme Court had taken up the Panama Papers issue and issued notices to the Prime Minister besides others, but Imran Khan went for a lockdown of Islamabad and then had to retract because of his own strategy.

The ANP leader said he was ready to work with Imran Khan for the rights of the province. He urged the federal government to establish industrial zones along the western route of China Pakistan Economic Corridor passing through Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He expressed deep grief over the tragic killing of 62 police cadets in Quetta.
