KARACHI: (APP) The Frontier Works Organization (FWO) is determined to intertwined all provinces the by land for the benefit of business community as well as people living across the country for ultimate prosperity and achievement of the objectives of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
A FWO spokesman, while talking to APP, disclosed that fifty per cent of the alignment and shape with quality of work of the Rs 9.9 billion, Karachi-Thatta Dual Carriageway (KTDCW) project has already been compeleted.
He expressed the determination that the project would be completed within time frame.
The KTDCW will help the people of Sindh to connect with Thar and other districts of province, he added.
The construction of KTDCW is being completed with quality of work that could be used by heavy vehicles, besides open business opportunities for the prosperity of the local population.
The spokesman said that it was the dream of people of Thar to avail the natural resources like coal, stone, Keenjhar lake besides other important locations by using 49-kilometre long road from Karachi via Thatta connecting other districts.
Keeping the desire of Thari people, the director general of FWO Major General Muhammad Afzal had directed the concerned technical staff to speed up the work and complete it on stipulated time.
