RAWALPINDI: (APP) Through latest knowledge we can examine the changes occurring in forests and aware the nation about environmental changes taking place, said Syed Nasir Shah Inspector General Forests of Ministry of Environmental Changes here Wednesday.
Talking to the delegation of Institute of Forestry Peshawar, who visited Attock Oil Refinery here, the IG said as wildlife is decreasing sharply due to environment changes, there is need to create awareness and to protect them from deforestation taking place.
He said Nature, which provides food, clean water and air, was essential for human wellbeing must be protected.
He said forestry is the composition of 40 subjects and it is necessary for its students to be well aware of the climate changes.
The delegation led by Dr Memoona also visited the Biodiversity park in the Refinery and reviewed animal fossils, plants species, Bio gas and solar energy plants.
