ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Coast Guard (PCG) has seized over 63 kilogram Hashish, 2 kilogram opium and arrested 10 smugglers during snap checking and patrolling, while 5 illegal immigrants were also arrested in an action adjacent to Pak-Iran Border.
According to the spokesman of PCG the snap checking and patrolling were conducted in Naka-Khari Check Post of Balochistan and in Super Highway of Karachi.
The Spokesman said that mobile phones of various companies, branded cigarettes and other drugs were also recovered from their possession.
He said that seized drugs and recovered items costs are millions of rupees and legal proceeding is also underway in this regard.
