ISLAMABAD - Over the much awaited issue of Revamping of major airports across Pakistan, Civial Aviation Authority takes key decision.

The government has decided to revamp seven major airports in order to bring them on par with international ones.

Director General Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Shahrukh Nusrat, announced this while addressing the Airport managers’ conference at Islamabad Airport. He said that the issues of the passengers should be resolved immediately at all airports.

He directed the airport managers to make arrangements to facilitate the Hajj flights that will commence from July 5, 2019. He instructed them to assist the pilgrims so they do not face any hardships during Hajj.

Nusrat also ordered the airport officials to arrest unauthorized passengers and take emergency measures to prevent their entry into the airports. The aviation sector will be designed in line with the new aviation policy, he said. The federal secretary was addressing the managers of Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Multan, Quetta, and Faisalabad airports.
