48 snow-hit Pakistani pilgrims in Iran rescued

ISLAMABAD: Heavy snow   hit   forty-eight   Pakistani passengers who were rescued by the Iranian Red Crescent in   Khorasan   Rizvi   Province of northeastern Iran.
             
Regional Red Crescent manager said that severe snowstorm caused a technical problem for a bus of Pakistani passengers last night,reported Tehran Radio.
Upon being informed, a rescue team was deployed to the area to provide the passengers with accommodations, food, and blankets, he said.
           
Snow has covered many cities and villages in Iran, and caused a lot of trouble in some areas and closure of Tehran airports.
