MEDINA: English cricketer Moeen Ali recently performed Umrah and posted the pictures of the holy places on his Twitter account, Samaa reported.
He took a picture of himself looking at the Holy Kaaba from his hotel room and captioned it with, “Best day of the week.”
Ali took a picture himself at Masjid-e-Nabawi (P.B.U.H) and captioned the image as, “What a place. Must visit.”
He posted the picture of him standing outside Quba mosque, “First ever mosque built in Medina. Beautiful place.”
England will play two one-day internationals against Ireland and a two-match series against South Africa before the country hosts the ICC Champions Trophy in June.
England face the South Africans in an eagerly anticipated test series and Ali is likely to be heavily involved in all three formats as the summer progresses.
