US Sikhs and Kashmiri community protest against PM Modi upon his arrival in USA

WASHINGTON: US Sikhs and Kashmiri community protested against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi upon his arrival in USA to attend Nuclear Security Summit.

 

The protestors demanded to end Indian brutalities and violence in Kashmir and other parts of the country.

 

The participants urged Modi to end raising attacks of Hindu Extremists on sectarianism and minorities as well.

 

Secretary General World Kashmir Awareness Ghulam Nabi said “All those leaders attending the Nuclear Summit and those who are interested in the world peace are urged to persuade both India and Pakistan to help resolve the Kashmir dispute for the sake of international peace and security.”

 

A Day before, Kashmiri Council European Union also held protest in Brussels against Modi for the violation of human rights in Kashmir.

 

Protesters raised anti-India and anti-Modi slogans and a large number of people from different NGOs, social workers and Human Rights Organization participated in the protest.

 


The protesters demanded EU to link free trade access of India to Europe with the betterment of human rights violation in Indian states including Kashmir.
