LAHORE: PPP senior leader and Senator Aitzaz Ahsan said that Sharif Brothers are above the law and they cannot be held accountable while everything was ok when NAB was taking action in Sindh but now ruling party has started to cry when NAB set its eyes on corruption cases in Punjab.
While talking to media here at today (Friday) outside Lahore High Court he questioned that Rangers have been deployed in Sindh to maintain law and order situation but why Rangers are not being deployed in Punjab despite of Gulshan Iqbal Blast.
He added that Sharif Brothers are exempted from accountability because they are sacred cows.
Aitzaz further stated that all the victims of Gulshan Iqbal blast should be given financial assistance without any discrimination while Pak Army was not responsible for security of Lahore incident because Army had not been called for security.
Pak Army itself launched operation in Punjab while Sharif Brothers were not taken into confidence before launching of operation. Aitzaz stated.
