ISLAMABAD: Pakistani cricket team head coach Waqar Younis called on Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Riaz Hussain Peerzada here at today (Thursday) in Islamabad and expressed his concerns over the leakage of his confidential report.
As per details, Waqar Younis has provided his report to Riaz Hussain Peerzada in the meeting saying that few elements in cricket board do not want to see progress in Pakistan cricket.
Waqar expressed his desire to have some time with PM Nawaz in the meeting while Inter-Provincial Coordination Minister assured him that his meeting with PM would be arranged soon to discuss the issues of cricket.
Waqar also informed Minister regarding the politics in Pakistan Cricket Board and Selection Committee requesting to send his report in the office of PM Nawaz.
While talking to media after meeting, Riaz Hussain Peerzada said that Waqar report will be kept in secrecy and will be shared with PM Nawaz Sharif soon.
When Waqar Younis was asked a question about the injury of Muhammad Hafeez by media person then he did not comment on it while replying another question head coach made it clear that he did not discuss anything about team grouping in his report.
