Prime Minister Imran Khan has recommended the country’s youth to watchTurkish drama serial *Yunus Emre *broadcast on PTV for all those who areinterested in Sufism.
In his tweet on Tuesday, the premier wrote, “I strongly recommend theserial Yunus Emre being shown on PTV for all those who are interested inSufism (Marayfat).”
Earlier, PTI senator Faisal Javed Khan said that another Mehmet Bozdağlinkdirectorial, *Yunus Emre *will be aired soon on state-run TV.
He further shared some insight about the drama. “”Yunus Emre (the Dervish)was an Islamic poet, a mystic & a poor villager,” he tweeted.
Faisal Javed further added that the show is the “story of a great Sufiwholly dedicated to ALLAH and searching for unity. It is a journey oftransformation.”

Khan also called the serial ‘a great example of meticulous attention todetail.’
The senator has further detailed Emre’s personality, saying, “Yunus Emrewas well versed in mystical philosophy, esp that of the 13th-century poetand mystic Jalaluddin Rumi.”
