ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has expedited probeinto corruption allegations against Senate deputy chairman SaleemMandviwalla in fake accounts scandal and a case related to illegalallotments in Kidney Hills, citing sources.

Sources told ARY News that the anti-corruption watchdog proceeded the probeinto corruption charges against Saleem Mandviwalla on basis of thestatement recorded by his alleged frontman Tariq.

The alleged frontman claimed that benami properties belong to Mandviwalli,whereas, the Senate deputy chairman had also confirmed in his mediastatement that the properties owned by his family.

Sources revealed that the properties were not disclosed in his particularsprovided to the election commission and the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).It emerged that Rs140 million was acquired by illegally allotting the stateland besides transferring money through fake bank accounts to his frontmanTariq.
