An agreement to generate 700 megawatt electricity through Azad Pattan PowerProject was signed between Azad Kashmir government and a Chinese companyunder CPEC in Islamabad today.
Speaking on the occasion, Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister RajaMuhammad Farooq Haider Khan said 2300 megawatt electricity is beingproduced in Azad Kashmir through hydro power projects to cater to powershortage in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, Federal Minister for Planning and DevelopmentAsad Umer highlighted the special efforts of the Azad Kashmir governmentfor development of Hydel power generation projects.
