Sheikh Rashid Ahmed makes important statement over COAS General Qamar Bajwa extension case

LAHORE – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Saturday hassaid that all political parties are agreed for giving an extension to theChief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa tenure, GNN reported.

The minister held a press conference in Lahore and said an unsuccessfulattempt was made to create unrest in the country. All parties are on samepage regarding Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa’sextension, and the Supreme Court has given a wise decision, he said.

Talking about former president Asif Ali Zardari, Sheikh Rashid said thematter pertaining to his plea bargain will be settled till March as the PMwill never give NRO to anyone.

There is a mafia which wants to destabilize Prime Minister Imran Khan’sgovernment, he added.

He further commented that it is interesting that erstwhile premier NawazSharif went to London for medical treatment while Pakistan MuslimLeague-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif has gone with him onvacations.

While slamming the opposition leaders, the minister said that JamiatUlema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman will soon found himselfempty-handed.
