ISLAMABAD – Pakistan is all set to host the first-ever an InternationalTrademark Conference in the Federal Capital, commencing from Wednesday, torevolutionize trademark profession in the country.
The three-day long regional Conference on “Competency-Based TrademarkExaminer” was being organized in collaboration with World IntellectualProperty Organization (WIPPO).
Chairman, Intellectual Property Organization (IPO-Pakistan) Mujeeb AhmedKhan said in a press conference at IPO headquarter in Islamabad that theconference is aimed at increasing awareness regarding trademark examinercompetencies considering the size, capacity, examination policy andpractices of the office, besides tracking their training needs to match andavail training opportunities and resources more efficiently.
