ISLAMABAD – Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has said the governmenthas fulfilled its promise of running ten new trains during first onehundred days.
Talking to newsmen in Lahore today (Saturday), he said the governmentpromoting tourism through train service and three tourist trains are beinglaunched in this regard. He said steam engine train will be plied fromRawalpindi to Taxila for promotion of tourism.
He said revenue of two billion rupees has been generated during firstninety days of his tenure.
The Minister said revenue of the railways have enhanced by twenty percentdue to an increase in the reservation hours.

He said a target of business worth ten billion rupees have been set whichwould be achieved at all costs.
