Frustrated over Pakistan FM remarks, Indian EAM Sushma Swaraj lashes out at him

NEW DELHI – Frustrated over Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshiremarks of “googly” by PM Khan, Indian External Affairs Minister SushmaSwaraj has hit back at him.

She said on Saturday that Indian ministers only visited Pakistan to offerprayers in the Kartarpur gurdwara.

Prime Minister Imran on Wednesday laid the foundation stone of theKartarpur corridor, which connects Narowal’s Gurdwara Darbar Sahib to DeraBaba Nanak situated in India’s Gurdaspur.

Indian cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu was a part ofan Indian delegation, including two ministers that travelled to Pakistanfor the event.

“Let me explain to you that we were not trapped by your ‘googlies’. Our twoSikh Ministers went to Kartarpur Sahib to offer prayers in the HolyGurudwara,” said the Indian external affairs minister in a tweet.

“Mr Foreign Minister of Pakistan – Your ‘googly’ remarks in a dramaticmanner has exposed none but YOU. This shows that you have no respect forSikh sentiments. You only play ‘googlies’,” she stated in an earlier tweet.
