Pakistan strongly hits out at Isarel

Pakistan strongly condemned Israel’s recent brutal attack on the Jabaliyarefugee camp in Gaza, which resulted in numerous casualties, includingwomen and children. The death toll from Israel’s aggressive bombardment ofGaza since October 7 has surpassed 8,000, and the United Nations expresseddeep concern over the dire situation, with fears of more children dying dueto dehydration.

In a statement, the Foreign Office spokesperson decried this attack as thelatest in a series of war crimes committed against the people of Gaza. Thesituation underscores the urgent need for an unconditional ceasefire toprotect civilians from further harm.

The Foreign Office urged the international community, particularly thosesupporting Israel, to take immediate action to halt hostilities, end theblockade of Gaza, safeguard civilians, and establish humanitarian corridorsfor the uninterrupted delivery of relief supplies to the beleagueredpopulation in Gaza.

In a separate development, Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilaniemphasized the pressing need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and thesafe passage of humanitarian assistance to Palestinians.

During a telephone conversation with Samantha Power, Administrator of theUnited States Agency for International Development (USAID), the foreignminister stressed the importance of an immediate ceasefire.
