ISLAMABAD – An IMF delegation led by its Resident Representative inPakistan, Teresa Daben Sanchez called on Federal Minister for Railways, Sh.Rasheed Ahmad in Islamabad today.
The delegation expressed interest in finding out measures to reduce fiscaldeficit of Pakistan Railways and to reduce its dependency on government’ssubsidy.
Minister for Railways said Pakistan Railways is aware of IMF role inimproving economy. He said Pakistan Railways can earn profit by increasingits freight sector.
