Former Pakistan cricket team captain Intikhab Alam has praised Indianspinner Kuldeep Yadav as the best among the spinners set to participate inthe upcoming World Cup, scheduled to begin a few days from now. In aninterview with an Indian news agency, the former Pakistani captain statedthat during the World Cup, Kuldeep Yadav will play a crucial role in themiddle overs for his team, and his role will be significant in the matchagainst Pakistan on October 14th.
Intikhab Alammentioned that India performed exceptionally well in the AsiaCup and defeated Sri Lanka in the final. However, he believes that in thecontext of the World Cup, Kuldeep Yadav will test all the best batsmen fromvarious teams. He also expressed concern about India having both KuldeepYadav and Jadeja, stating that their spin attack is highly dangerous.
Alam stated his opinion that Kuldeep Yadav is the best spinner in thecurrent World Cup, and the inclusion of experienced players likeRavichandran Ashwin in the Indian team has made their bowling evenstronger.
