Kashmiri Resistance leaders hail Pakistan stance at UN, snub Indian lies and deceit

SRINAGAR – In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership has hailedPakistan for courageously highlighting the Kashmir dispute at the UNGeneral Assembly.

In a statement in Srinagar, Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference SyedAli Gilani said Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s address has onceagain proved that Pakistan is a friend and well-wisher of the people ofJammu and Kashmir.

Reacting to the Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj’s speech, Gilanitermed it as a pack of lies, deceit, arrogance and persistent denial ofground realities in Kashmir.

Senior APHC leader Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai said that the lingering Kashmirdispute is bone of contention between the two nuclear powers in South Asia.

The Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz UmarFarooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik through a letter urged the UN SecretaryGeneral Antonio Guterres to play his role for settlement of the Kashmirdispute which remains on the agenda of the World Body for the past sevendecades.
