ISLAMABAD – Former Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) director general AsadDurrani has approached the Islamabad High Court over the issue of ExitControl List.
Former spy Chief has filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court (IHC)seeking the removal of his name from Exit Control List (ECL).
Interior Ministry has put his name on the ECL after his controversial bookcame in the market. Asad Durrani has challenged the ministry’s notificationto put on his name in the ECL upon his controversial book.
The petitioner took the plea that to put his name on the ECLafter inquiry is violation of basic human rights.

He further said that to implement a travel ban is a serious violation ofbasic rights mentioned in the constitution of Pakistan, therefore, thecourt should set aside the notification.
