MIRPUR (AJK): (APP) In response to the call given by Azad Jammu and Kashmir Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), lawyers from across AJK will stage the long march from Muzaffarabad to the Line of Control (LoC) at Chakothi sector on October 04 in order to register severe indignation against the human rights abuses and the genocide of innocent kashmiris by the Indian forces in the occupied Jammu & Kashmir, AJK SCBA officially announced here on Saturday.

Talking to newsmen here on Saturday, Secretary General of the AJK SCBA and Chief Coordinator of the Program Imtiaz Hussain Raja Advocate said that the lawyers scheduled Long March has been named the `Kashmir Freedom March’ to apprise the world of the reign of the highest volume of state terrorism and violence unleashed by the Indian occupational forces against the freedom-loving population in the Indian held Kashmir.
The Secretary General of the SCBA disclosed that the professional colleagues – the lawyers from occupied Jammu & Kashmir have also been invited to stage a long march from Srinagar and Bara Mula towards the Line of Control at Uri to join their brethren from the liberated territory in the October 4th Long March..

The AJK SCBA Secretary General said that the people living this side of the Line of Control – AJK, could never remain mum over the repeated genocide of innocent Kashmiris by Indian forces in the occupied state – who (the Kashmiris) have launched the peaceful street struggle to get the motherland from the Indian clutches.
He underlined that at least 110 innocent Kashmiris have been gunned down by the Indian occupationsla forces in the held Kashmir during the ongoing Intifada for the last 85 days.

Imtiaz underlined that hundreds of innocent kashmiris have been made blind by the Indian occupational forces through making them the target of the pellet guns during recent protest demonstrations by the Kashmiris in the turbulent valley. Besides hundreds of Kashmiri woman were molested and disgraced by the armed gangsters of the Indian occupational forces in their repeated abortive attempts to snub kashmiris voice for freedom and for the achievement of the right to self determination.
Elaborating the schedule of the Kashmir Freedom Long March, Imtiaz Hussain Raja Advocate said the scheduled Long March will proceed from Muzaffarabad at 10.00 in the Morning for the Line of Control at Chakothi.
He declared that the lawyers from all ten districts of AJK will participate in the scheduled Long March under the leadership of the President and Secretary General of the AJK SCBA and the Presidents and other office bearers of all the district and tehsil bar associations from all ten districts of AJK.

The Chief Coordinator of the Kashmir Freedom March said that the heads of all the major political parties of Azad Jammu & Kashmir including the Prime Minister of AJK Raja Farooq Haider Khan, Speaker AJK Legislative Assembly and Secretary General of the PML (N) Shah Ghulam Qadir, Muslim Conference’s President, President Jammu Kashmir Liberation League Justice (Retd) Abdul Majeed Mallick, PPP AJK’s Secretary General Ch. Latif Akber, Amir JI and MLA Abdul Rasheed Turabi, PTI AJK leader Ch. Muhammad Sideeque Advocate and heads of various other parties have also been invited to join the scheduled
Oct 4 long march to express strong protest over the massacre of innocent people by the Indian forces in occupied Kashmir besides to reiterate complete solidarity with the brethren in occupied Jammu Kashmir in their just and principled struggle for the cause of freedom of the motherland from the Indian yoke.
Imtiaz Raja Advocate stated that earlier, a convention of the AJK lawyers including the advocate of the AJK Supreme Court will be held in Muzaffarabad in evening on October 03 to express AJK lawyers concern over the increased worsening conditions of the freedom-monger brethren in occupied Jammu & Kashmir.
Besides the AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan, President of the AJK SCBA Raja Khalid Mahmood, President Mirpur DBA Raja Zulfiqar Ahmed Advocate, Secretary General SCBA Imtiaz Hussain, Syed Nishaat Hussain Kazmi Advocate and other senior lawyers besides the heads of various bar associations of AJK will address the scheduled convention, he concluded.
