Pakistan and Turkey are pleased with the alignment of their perspectiveson significant regional and global matters. This consensus was reachedduring a meeting between Foreign Minister Jalil Abass Jilani and TurkishAmbassador Dr. Mehmet Paçaci in Islamabad last Friday.
During the meeting, both parties reviewed the existing ties betweenPakistan and Turkey, which have historically been characterized bycooperation and mutual understanding.
Furthermore, they reaffirmed their commitment to further strengtheningtheir cooperation in various areas of mutual interest. This commitmentsignifies the intent to deepen their partnership, encompassing economic,political, and diplomatic spheres.
