ISLAMABAD – The members of Organisation of Kashmir Coalition have drawnattention of British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, towards Indianbrutalities in occupied Kashmir.
In a letter submitted to office of UK Prime Minister, OKC members includingProfessor Nazir Ahmed Shawl, Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo, MohammedSaleem, Shaista Safi and Nazar Lodhi said August 5 is a black day in theconstitutional history of India as it repealed Articles 370 and 35A of itsconstitution which gave special status to Kashmir and its residents.
They wrote, this act is illegal, unconstitutional and legislativeterrorization and abrogation of Article 35A is intended to demolish theKashmir’s identity and bring a demographic change.
The OKC members urged the Britain to impress upon Indian government to endcurrent blockade with utter commitment for the promotion and protection ofall Kashmiris.
They also demanded the visit of a fact-finding international commission tothe locked Kashmir to take stock of existential realities.
