ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Navy Ship ASLAT on the last Port Call of her OverseasDeployment to Mediterranean and European Countries has visited Jeddah port.According to Spokesperson of Pakistan Navy, its overseas deployment toMediterranean and European countries reflected Pakistan Navy’s reach inwestern hemisphere, while pursuing Pakistan’s Foreign Policy objectives.
The three day long visit was aimed to further strengthen the existing bondsof friendship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and provided impetus todiplomatic and military ties between two brotherly countries.
Pakistan Navy delegation headed by Commodore Muhammad Faisal Abbasi heldmeeting with Deputy Commander Western Fleet of Royal Saudi Naval Forces .
During interaction, enormous goodwill and warmth was expressed for thepeople of Pakistan in general and Pakistan Navy in particular.
Moreover, Damage Control and Fire Fighting Practical training was conductedat Madrasat ul Hareeq School to enhance interoperability and to mutuallybenefit from each other’s experience.
PNS ASLAT hosted reception onboard which was attended among others by H.EConsul General of Pakistan, Ambassador of Turkey, Consul General of China,Egypt, France, Italy, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Russia, Singapore, Turkey, UK,USA, Uzbekistan and Yemen.
