ISLAMABAD – Pakistan bowling spearhead Mohammad Amir would be seen inaction tonight (Thursday) at Vitality Blast, as the bowler makes his muchanticipated return to Essex Eagles.
Amir finally got his UK Sporting Visa approved, which will allow him toplay against Hampshire at Chelmsford tonight. “I am thrilled that this hasnow been completed and that Amir can concentrate on the match ahead withus,” said Anthony McGrath, Head Coach at Essex Cricket, quoted *EssexCricket*.
“He will give us the extra dimension as a left-armer in our bowling unit,swinging the ball into the right-handed batsman, as well as that control inthe powerplay and variations in the death overs,” he added.
