ISLAMABAD – Talking to reporters after chairing the executive committeemeeting of the Pakistan Olympic Association at a local hotel, PresidentPakistan Olympic Association Arif Hasan denied the media reports oftrimming the contingent to 140.
The POA chief said he is in contact with the PSB and there is no such moveand the contingent of 245 would participate as per previous announcement.
He said entries of all 245 athletes and officials had been approved by theorganising committee of the Asian gala and training camps are already inprogress.
Therefore, there is no room to cut down the size of the contingent becausethe country would face penalties.
