The seventh round of the talks between the United States and Taliban has kicked off in Doha amid high expectations of reaching a conclusion on key issues.

The latest round of direct talks is focused on four key issues included a Taliban guarantee that it will not allow fighters to use Afghanistan to launch attacks outside the country, the withdrawal of US and NATO forces, an intra-Afghan dialogue and a permanent ceasefire.
