West Indies assistant coach Mushtaq Ahmed strategy proved to be disastrous for Pakistan in World Cup Match

NOTTINGHAM: Former leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed who is the assistant coach forthe West Indies devised a strategy that proved to be the difference in thematch against Pakistan.

Pakistan’s batting was dismantled by the West Indies pace attack for 105.The match was easilylinkbythe West Indies with seven wickets to spare.

The West Indies pacers attacked the Pakistani batting with short pitchdeliveries. Mushtaq Ahmed has revealed that this was his strategy as a newand bouncy pitch at Trent Bridge was used for the match.

During the post match press conference, Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmedsaid the team would make a comeback in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
