Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is expected to visit Layyah on Tuesday, where he will perform groundbreaking of a four-lane bridge project on Indus River.

One point five kilometer long bridge will link Layyah with Taunsa and it will be constructed at a cost of about seven billion rupees.

The project also include two-lane 20 kilometers long approach roads.

The new bridge will reduce the distance between Layyah and Taunsa.
