SRINAGAR – In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of stateterrorism, martyred four youth in Pulwama district today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth were killed by the troopsduring a cordon and search operation in Lassipora area of the district.

The authorities suspended Internet service in Pulwama and Shopiandistricts. The troops also launched violent cordon and search operations inQazigund and Veernag areas of the Islamabad district. The killings sparkedcomplete shutdown in the entire South Kashmir.

The High Court Bar Association of occupied Kashmir in a statement issued inSrinagar criticised Principal District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar, fordisallowing a seminar saying the judge had made the decision under pressurefrom the Indian authorities. The seminar was meant to memorize the renownedhuman rights lawyer, Advocate Jaleel Andrabi, who was killed in custody ofthe Indian army in March 1996.

The Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League in a statement denounced the continuedillegal detention of party Chairman, Masarrat Aalam Butt and other Hurriyatleaders and activists.

On the other hand, The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front in a statementpaid glowing tributes to renowned physician, philanthropist and freedomleader, Dr Abdul Ahad Guru on his martyrdom anniversary.
