WASHINGTON – In the United States, rallies were held in New York,Washington, Chicago and other cities to protest against the recentanti-Muslim violence in Indian capital New Delhi.
The protesters demanded repeal of the controversial Citizenship AmendmentAct that had sparked violence against minorities in the country.
They also highlighted the BJP government’s “fascist” ideologiestargeting religious minorities especially Muslims.
