As Pakistan returns back captive Indian Pilot, Indian Military starts indiscriminate fire at LoC

ISLAMABAD – As Pakistan handed back captured Indian Air Force pilot WingCommander Abhinandan Varthaman at the Attari-Wagah border on Friday, Indianforces along the LoC violated the ceasefire around the same time in Jammuand Kashmir’s Mendhar, Balakote and Krishna Ghati sectors.

The violations occurred around 1800hrs, in what is a continuation of Indianforces’ apparent strategy of cross-border firing.

The tension is palpable all along the LoC with Indian ground forcesrepeatedly violating ceasefire by resorting to firing and mortar shelling.

Pakistan forces have been retaliating with equal intensity.
